Launching in 2008, ECI Korea set out with a focus to release anything from ambient techno to minimal experimentations. In a short time the label has seen contributions from Tim Xavier, Billy Johnston, Gennaro Mastrantonio, Subfractal to Jonas Kopp on its releases.
The latest rePRESENT EP includes fresh interpretations of original tracks release earlier this year from an interesting collaboration of label boss Unjin together with Sunji.
Bringing in a squad of remixers including Mojave, Feral Bosphorus, Romi, Deepbass and IORI this collection is full of diverse and exciting sound creatives.
Scottish star Deepbass now calls Barcelona home, and with releases acquired on labels such as Soma, Edit Select, Dynamic Reflection and his own Informa Records, it’s his remix of “Pigs and Dogs” that has been chosen. A melodic, deep and sensitive aesthetic spins the original into a new dimension of euphoric techno, totally trademark of his highly regarded sound.
