Solee‘s label Parquet Recordings has for years been at the forefront of electronic music, with releases from artists that have ranged from Oliver Schories to Gui Boratto.
Focused towards melodic music that’s rich in melody, the vibe of each release can vary between up-tempo techno and ambient electronica, and the label has an open minded approach to everything that falls in between.
Recently Parquet Recordings launched its new Wooden Tales series which focuses on the deeper side of the labels sound, with an aim to shine a spotlight on only the best deep electronica and downtempo house.
Launching the Wooden Tales series with a three track mixed artist EP, the first release features solo tracks from Blind, Wüstenmond and Balad.
Wüstenmond’s track titled “Autumn Leaves” intently grabbed our attention with its pulsating bass synth, dreamy vocal phrases and swelling synths layered under a delicate melody.
Little is known about Wüstenmond as his track on this EP is his first ever release and he has decided to keep his true identity anonymous… so this could be a fresh new talent, or an established artist trying some new ideas under a shroud of secrecy.
Whichever the answer to the artist, we are excited to hear more and have been lucky enough to premiere his track from Wooden Tales, Vol. 1.
