New on Ray Okpara’s label AMA Recordings is an EP from German artist Chris Tietjen who is making his debut on the imprint.
Chris Tietjen first broke into the scene with a series of releases on Sven Väth’s mighty Cocoon, and has since gone on to feature on other labels such as Serkal and Moan.
Fans of Chris will already be familiar with his stripped back chic sound design and deep elements that combine to build moody atmospherics perfect for the dancefloor.
Also featuring on the release is a collaborative remix provided by Chris Wood and Meat, who along with being solo producers often work together, and share a back catalogue including labels like Hottrax, Desolat and Moon Harbour.
Each of the three original tracks on the EP has its own personality, and we have been privileged with an exclusive premiere of “Dry“, which had a selection of trippy vocals layered with tribal percussion and delicate synths.
