The latest edition of the Him Self Her podcast comes from Dutch techno artist Rob Hes who since dropping his first EP in 2012 has risen to become a prominent figure in Netherlands electronic music scene.
With regular booking in Holland his skills behind the decks has seen Rob Hes reach far outside of his native country, and receive DJ bookings all across Europe and other parts of the world.
Playing uptempo sets of fiery techno with a strong sense of melody blending uplifting elements with dark atmosphere, his style can also be heard in the music he produces as it’s the success of those tracks which helped him carve out a career and get noticed on the global stage.
Rob Hes has contributed music to labels such as Christian Smith’s Tronic, Dubfire’s SCI+TEC, Sian’s Octopus and Pig&Dan’s ELEVATE amongst many others.
Not only an artist Rob Hes is also a label owner heading up the Pursuit imprint which had become a main outlet for his own music, and will be available in stores on the 21st of September.
