New on Cacao Records is an EP from German duo Boot Slap whose music can also be found on Connaisseur Recordings, Exploited and Dilate Records.
Along with the two original tracks the release also features remixes by Echonomist and My Favorite Robot, and we have been honoured with an exclusive first play premiere of the mix by My Favourite Robot.
The duo behind the My Favourite Robot alias has become synonymous with releases on their own namesake label, but they have also featured many tracks on other high profile labels such as Click Records, Last Night On Earth, Visionquest and Hypercolour.
For this remix the My Favourite Robot boys have teamed up to collaborate with Jonny Cruz who himself has made many other releases on imprints including Serkal, Akbal Music and Upon You Records.
Their remix of “State Of Freaks” by Boot Slap takes the original and deepens the sound with slim-line percussion, eloquent pads and throbbing bass notes.
