Agile Recordings run by Uto Karem is about to put out its 100th release, and it’s celebrating this momentous achievement with a huge mixed artists package, including music from lots of well-known artists such as Uto Karem, Cristian Varela, Loco & Jam, Filterheadz, Mladen Tomic, Anderson Noise and many others.
One of the tracks is from G Flame who is also known to many as high flying techno artist The Advent, who has featured on labels like Tresor and Drumcode.
G Flame is typically an alias used for deeper tracks that lean more towards house music, and other labels to feature this alias include Davide Squillace’s This And That Lab.
In this instance, the track by G Flame titled “Rise Up” is a little tougher with a pulsating acid bassline underpinning filtered pads. Reminiscent of the classic Daft Punk style, its tightly sequenced sound and loopy groove give it a feel-good vibe with some subtle techno influence.
