2020 marks the beginning of a new era for Upon You Records. Celebrating their 13th year in the business, as well 150 single releases on the label, it was only fitting for label founder, A&R and overall creative mastermind Marco Resmann to take the helm for this seminal release with the Caelum EP, a stunning new four tracker that defines the label sound for the future.
We have the first play of Septem – a muscular Tech House stomp garnished by a short, ever looped sawtooth bass motif and hovering, ethereal atmospheres beautifully layered with quirky bass warps, twisted rave signals and spaced out sweeps, a trippy symphony cleverly unfolding to great effect on the dance floor:
