Sol Selectas is Sabo‘s record label, and each year it releases an annual Summer Sol compilation, which brings together organic house tracks from all over the world.
Although focused on organic house, the 25-track compilation also includes Afro house, deep house, downtempo, and deep tech.
Some of the music comes from Sol Selectas favourites like Sabo, Yamil, Mula, Giovanni Aparicio, Guy Maayan, Adwas, and DJ Phellix. There are also numerous artists making their debut on the record label. Many of the artists have also worked with other highly respected imprints such as MoBlack Records, Monaberry, Pipe & Pochet, Anjunadeep, and Cosmic Awakenings.
Summer Sol serves as a reminder that under the sun’s beams we are all created equal, and the sun does not judge people for their differences. This concept is reflected with the compilation featuring music by people from warring nations like Russia and Ukraine or Israel and Iran. Music brings people together, and in total there are 17 different countries represented by this compilation.
All of the tracks have been selected by Sabo and tested in his DJ sets, as only the very best is featured on a Summer Sol compilation. This is also reflected by the support already gained from prominent club spinners such as Guy J, Tim Green, and many others.
If there was ever a release that summed up the sound of the summer, then it’s the joyous melodies, uplifting pads, and revitalising percussion of a Summer Sol compilation.
