German deep house & techno label Bondage Music have put out a consistent flow of quality music for over a decade, including artists like Superflu, Steve Bug, NTFO and Acumen.
Following his well received EP on Gruuv, along with previous releases on Poker Flat, Dessous & Rebellion, James Dexter returns to Bondage with a full artist EP – “Hooked“. Having spent several years immersed in the London underground house music scene, his productions & DJ sets are a well-rounded combination of groove driven, low bass, deep underground sounds, a proven formula to keep the dance floor grooving away till the early hours.
This release as a whole is a low slung, groovy house affair with a touch of minimal; a testament to Dexter’s well honed production skills and signature sound. We have the first play of “93”, a stripped down, sun-drenched and melodic deep house cut, worthy of the headiest summer evening & early morning parties.
