Stiv Hey is an Italian artist who has risen through the Techno ranks via releases on labels including Dubfire’s SCI+TEC, plus Uto Karem’s Agile Recordings, and his new EP is on Loose Records.
Alongside Stiv Hey’s two original tracks the release also features a remix from Spektre, who have been a regular feature of labels including Pig&Dan’s ELEVATE, UMEK’s 1605, and Sasha Carassi’s Phobiq.
The originals “Memories” and “Alexander” have percussion focused grooves with dramatic breakdowns and menacing synths. Adding a modern twist to nostalgic sounds there is something timeless about the style of this Techno focused release.
Spektre’s remix of “Memories” has a hard as nails kick drum and pounding percussion that lifts the track up a gear.
Each of the fantastic tracks on this EP has its time and place, but the Spektre remix is the one we would most strongly recommend. The release is out now and you can pick up a copy HERE.
