German artist Heron returns to FLASH Recordings for his much anticipated fifth release on Florian Meindl’s highly respected techno imprint.
Martin Spittel aka Heron first turned heads with early releases on his own label Limikola, before catching the attention of Kevin Saunderson who also signed tracks to his label KMS Records.
Having releases on other great labels such as Hans Bouffmyhre’s Sleaze Records and the highly influential Soma Records, Heron’s timeless sound influenced by classic Detroit techno has earned him a building reputation for fusing deep sophistication with dark atmosphere.
Dancefloor focused, his new release on FLASH also features a remix from Canada’s Greg Gow, and we have the privilege of an exclusive first play of “Firmament” which is an original track taken from the EP.
With stabbing pads and a hypnotic groove rich with analog warmth, Firmament is an exquisite cut of classy techno, and for those wishing to purchase a copy the release will soon be available from HERE.
