Shlomi Aber is one of Israel’s pioneering electronic music producers who along with heading up his label Be As One has also collaborated with other electronic music icons such a Guy Gerber, Kenny Larkin, Guti and DJ Sneak.
Something of a chameleon, Shlomi Aber’s sound has changed and evolved over the years, but it’s always had strong percussive elements. With his sound becoming more techno focused he is a more regular feature of places like Berghain rather than DC10, and his recent releases have included music on R&S Records, Figure, Drumcode plus ODD / EVEN.
Stripped back with analogue sounds and dark atmosphere, Shlomi has recently launched a new label to exclusively focus towards his moody and machine driven style of industrial edged techno.
The project titled Lost Episodes dropped its first vinyl only release this week and “Episode 1” features four original tracks from the label boss himself.
