With official approval from the original artist, London based Kahniche (pictured above) has reworked the highly successful “On You” written by Michael Calfan.
The rework has been done to such a high standard that Michael Calfan himself has even supported Kahniche’s rework in his DJ sets, alongside plays from Toddla T on his BBC Radio 1Xtra show.
We have been honoured with being allowed to make remix available as a free download on the Him Self Her SoundCloud page, and we can’t describe how much we love the Kahniche rework.

Using only snippets of the vocal, Kahniche’s deeper version keeps the original’s two-step sound, but swaps the sub heavy bassline for something with more of a free flowing grove. Also adding his own Fender Rhodes chords, this jazzed up version focuses on bringing out the soulful elements that have made the original such a big hit.
