Le Club Records is an Italian label run by Veerus and Maxie Devine who recently dropped an EP on Drumcode.
The label has a hard hitting sound with strong sense of melody and along with contributions from the label owners has featured tracks and remixes from a wide selection of artists.
Soon to drop on Le Club Records is a two track EP from Joyce Mercedes who is a Dutch artist whose music can also be found on Orange Recordings run by Steve Mulder.
A veteran of the world’s clubbing scene, Joyce Mercedes has performed in over seventy countries and is returning to music after taking some time out to focus on other projects. Her legacy in music also includes prestigious residencies in venues such as Space Ibiza.
“Obsession” is the title track from the EP, and its namesake vocal sample booms out over the arpeggiated melody of the throbbing lead synth. Hard hitting and full of character this peak time cut of techno is a certified party starter.
