Alan Fitzpatrick’s label We Are The Brave has become a consistent source of quality techno, and the new release from A.S.H is no exception.
A.S.H is from Alan Fitzpatrick’s home town of Portsmouth in the UK, and he is a homegrown talent that so far in his career has kept his releases exclusive to We Are The Brave.
The latest release from A.S.H is his second solo EP and features four original tracks, which each touching on a different part of the techno spectrum. Opened by the acid-line of “Together” things then get euphoric with the trippy break of “You”, before the bassline of “Whispers” takes full control.
Each of the three aforementioned tracks has it’s time and place on the dance floor, as all have a peak time energy, but our personal favourite is “The Drop” which we have been lucky enough to premiere.
With a sound reminiscent of an old school warehouse rave, the stabbing synths and throbbing bassline are hard-hitting and timeless.
