If techno releases had personalities, FANPRO would be the one turning up to the afterparty wearing sunglasses indoors and somehow getting away with it. Myles Sergé has gathered a small crew of co-conspirators for a seven-track remix package that feels less like a standard EP and more like a playful jam session where every guest brings a different flavour of mischief.

The original “FANPRO” kicks things off with the confidence of a track that knows exactly where the sweet spot is. A sharp synth lead struts over growling bass and trusty claps, equal parts gritty warehouse and cheeky dance floor wink. It’s the kind of tune that makes you nod seriously while secretly planning your next terrible dance move.

Berlin’s Toxido Mask takes the controls next, dunking the track in dubby echoes and cavernous atmospheres, like relocating the party to an abandoned swimming pool with excellent acoustics. Ackermann keeps the groove bouncy and nostalgic, adding crunchy percussion that feels like a friendly elbow in the ribs. Myk Derill then sneaks in through the back door with a tougher, trippier version, all muted kicks and wobbling bass, perfect for that 4am “just one more track” moment.

The alternate takes are where the fun really multiplies. “v3” floats in as a dreamy toolbox piece, “The Classic Version” rocks a retro grin and analogue swagger, and “v4” closes with jazzy piano licks that sound like techno wearing a novelty hat.

Serious production, unserious vibes, FANPRO has gained DJ support from Laurent Garnier, Raresh, Patrick Lindsey, Dan Curtin, and Colin Dale, amongst others, and proves you can stomp your feet and still crack a smile.
