Italoboyz, as their name suggests, have roots in Italy, but currently, the duo consisting of Marco Donato and Federico Marton are based in the UK where they also play regular DJ gigs.
With an eccentric style often infused with jazz influence, the Italoboyz have showcased their sound on some of the world’s best-loved labels ranging from their own Superfiction Recordings to Crosstown Rebels.
One of the labels they have worked with is This And That Lab run by Davide Squillace, and the new release from Italoboyz is a return to the imprint.
Working alongside the Italoboyz is Blind Minded who has become a regular collaborator with the boys, and over the last few years has featured on many of their releases.
Also on the This And That Lab release is a remix from Matteo Spedicati who we have featured on Him Self Her before. His rework on their release is very much in the stripped back style he has associated with his music on Amam, but he has also featured on labels such as Hot Creations and Great Stuff.
Matteo Spedicati has remixed the EP’s lead track “Back To Paradise” and he has added new percussion with the sensual guitar that is prominent in the original. Chucked up but still spacious, this club version is made with DJ’s in mind and we have been lucky enough to present this exclusive premiere.
