There are lots of addictive jackin’ claps and whipping hi-hats on this grungy, analogue-focused record that begs to be listened to loudly.
“Pecatonica” is the closing track from fellow American Mike Derer, who has over 20 years in the industry and showcases his skill by creating a stunning sound design experience. The listener’s attention is held throughout by the changing textures that envelop some tasteful modular notes and fluttering percussion parts.
