Drim

Drim are back on White Owl Records with their latest EP, Three Incantations, and it’s a spellbinding blend of beats that’s sure to cast a funky spell on your speakers. This trio of tracks is like a techno potion brewed up in the heart of Brooklyn’s underground.

The opening track, “Nectar,” is a quirky concoction of metallic percussion and a raunchy rhythm that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled into a techno wizard’s lair. It’s got that classic vibe but with a twist—like someone threw a vintage beat machine into a bubbling cauldron and let it simmer until the beats got weird and wonderful.

Next up is “Circadia,” and it’s a thumper. This track is all about power, with a kick drum that hits like a sledgehammer and a sub-bass that throbs like a heartbeat. The lead synth skitters around like it’s on a caffeine high, and by the time the acid-infused tones kick in, you’ll be lost in a hypnotic marathon of sound.

Rounding out the EP is “Smelt,” a track that bursts onto the scene with a stuttering kick and a groove that’s just plain funky. There’s a hint of tribal rhythm in the toms, and the swirling synth adds a burst of energy that keeps the track rolling forward with grit and style.

Three Incantations is a magical, genre-bending ride that proves Drim are true techno alchemists, turning beats into gold.
