Alexi Delano is somewhat of a Swedish maestro who applied his name to an expansive catalogue over the last seventeen years and counting. From appearances on Laurent Garnier’s F Communications, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode and Truesoul, Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8 and M_nus to Spectral Sound, Alexi has a high pedigree of production prowess.

His newest EP titled CTRL007 is released on CMND CTRL, which based in the USA, has featured top artists such as Psyk who runs the Non Series label in Spain as well as Tim Xavier the renowned master engineer/DJ/producer now located in Berlin and Ray Kajioka who is a regular on Heiko Laux’s Kanzleramt for example.

Alexi’s original track “FOMO Tech” is a deep and sweeping journey with a rolling groove and unique emotion with a sure nod to classic Detroit vibes.

The first of two remixes included comes from Gaetano Parisio, an influential Italian artist with veteran status of labels like Billy Nasty’s Tortured and Primate, he adds a fresh, hypnotic and up-tempo take to the release.

Closing out with the second remix is KIMONO, a fellow Swede who has been making waves with great contributions to The Advent’s Kombination Research, Gary Beck’s BEK Audio, and Cari Lekebusch’s H-Productions. His version switches things up to highlight the stabbing original’s synth alongside crashing claps.
