Roberto Pagliaccia is back on Sisko Electrofanatik‘s Gain Records with a peak-time techno EP called ‘Without You’.
It features two original tracks from the up-and-coming Italian producer alongside a remix by Alberto Remondini.
Along with previous techno releases on Gain Records, Roberto Pagliaccia has also featured house music tracks on other labels such Deep Woods and Lapsus Music.
Alberto Remondini is making his Gain Records debut with the remix on this release, but he is a veteran producer with over a decade of releases on other imprints ranging from Black Hole Recordings to Mauro Picotto’s Alchemy.
The EP opens with the acid synth and namesake vocals of the title track “Without You” which has a thumping kick drum and rattling hi-hats that propel the high-energy groove.
Second is Alberto Remondini’s remix of Without You and it’s a refined version that builds up the tension as it unfolds with the help of an atmospheric breakdown and extra percussion that forms a new backing track for the original’s vocal.
Last on the release is “Hold Up” and it’s got hypnotic vocal textures layered over electrifying synths and slamming percussion that creates a spine-tingling techno groove.
