Lilova combine a cinematic vocal performance with awe-inspiring synth lines in their new organic house single, Gori, which is out now on the Baikal Nomads record label.
This is the third time that Lilova have released original music through Baikal Nomads. They are a duo consisting of a producer and vocalist from Russia. Dora Borovskaya is the singer, and Borowsky who’s the producer, also features a solo remix.
“Gori” is centred around the lead vocal, and some epic synths that spiral and soar to give the track a truly expansive sound. There are also accordions, violins and other instruments adding organic textures to the track’s enchanting vibe and invigorating energy.
Borowsky’s downtempo remix of “Gori” has a chugging acid bassline, and saves the main vocal sections for the breakdowns. It’s a hallucinatory remix with building suspense, and some additional percussion that’s washed in delay to ensure it adds to the trippy mood of the remix.
There is also a remix by Tebra, who’s a Serbian artist with a style incorporating everything from Afro house to melodic techno. His uplifting organic house remix adds some guitar chords, drum fills, and a new bassline. His additional parts add to the original’s vocal and melody synth. It’s a melodic version that has Hispanic undertones provided by the flamenco style guitar.
The release has already gained support from the likes of Acid Pauli, and you can buy a copy HERE.
