RaidhoRaidho is back on Sabo’s Sol Selectas with his new EP, Ancient Worlds, which has three originals, alongside remixes by Guy Maayan and Giovanny Aparicio.

It’s a fantastic organic house release, which exemplifies the genre by utilising a dynamic blend of flowing percussive energy, gripping atmosphere, and magical melodies.

Raidho is a Polish artist who has an Afro-infused style, layering earthy percussion and soaring synths. He has made Sol Selectas a regular home for his music, this being his third release on the label. His tracks can also be heard on the likes of Bar 25 Music and 3000 Grad Records.

On remix duties, Guy Maayan delivers an indie dance rework in a style his fans will recognise from other imprints like Shango Records, • kosa •, Baikal Nomads, and Akbal Music.

Giovanny Aparicio lifts the tempo with a powerful remix that focuses on synth chords and mesmerising melody. Similar to his music on labels such as Pipe & Pochet, Abracadabra Music, and Anjunadeep.

The title track, “Ancient Worlds” has a throbbing bass, pitched tom drums and haunting pad sweeps, intertwined with angelic vocals. “Anunnaki Whispers” is a murky track that has swelling synths and rippling textures submerged in trippy atmospherics. Guy Mayaan’s remix strips out some of the original’s murky atmospherics, and works in some extra percussion. “Oracle’s Vision” has soaring synths and twinkling organic sounds creating an epic vibe. Giovanny Aparicio’s remix of “Oracle’s Vision” is an energetic version with chunky drums and additional synth work.
